Isa 26:17 As the pregnant woman approaches the time to give birth, She writhes and cries out in her labor pains, Thus were we before You, O LORD.

Isa 26:18 We were pregnant, we writhed in labor, We gave birth, as it seems, only to wind. We could not accomplish deliverance for the earth, Nor were inhabitants of the world born.

Isa 26:19 Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.

Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter into your rooms And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while Until indignation runs its course.

Isa 26:21 For behold, the LORD is about to come out from His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; And the earth will reveal her bloodshed And will no longer cover her slain.

1Co 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,

1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

We are destined for the wrath of God

1Th 5:4  But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief;

1Th 5:5  for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness;

1Th 5:6  so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.

1Th 5:7  For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night.

1Th 5:8  But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.

1Th 5:9  For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

There is typologies of the rapture and protection from the rapture in the scripture.

1. Noah went into the ark before the flood. 7 days prior to the start of the flood.

2. Lot was taken out before destruction could happen.

3. Moses went to the top of the mountain and Jesus came down and met him.
